Marvel vs. Capcom takes opposite creative direction to Street Fighter, says Niitsuma.
Ryota Niitsuma, former Producer of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, stated in an interview that the creative direction for the Marvel vs. Capcom series is intentionally designed to be the opposite of Street Fighter, allowing for more chaotic gameplay and less adherence to standard fighting game rules.
