
Ruoning Yin Secures First Major Title at 2023 Women's PGA Championship.
Ruoning Yin won the 2023 Women’s PGA Championship, her first career major title and second win on the LPGA Tour, shooting a final-round 67 at Baltusrol’s Lower Course to finish 8-under-par. Yin hit her final 37 greens in regulation to close the tournament and was in the clubhouse as the final group wrapped up its round. The 20-year-old becomes the second Chinese player to win a major, joining Shanshan Feng (2012 Women’s PGA Championship). Other young stars in women's golf include Yuka Saso, 22, who finished solo second at 7 under, and Rose Zhang, who finished T8 at 5 under.
