Rudy Giuliani has decided not to testify in his own defense as his defamation case, brought by Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea Moss, reaches its final stage. The pair is seeking damages between $15 million and $43 million for Giuliani's false claims that they were involved in election fraud. Giuliani's lawyers cited an inability to afford the damages as the reason for his decision not to testify. Freeman testified that she had to flee her home and feared for her life after Giuliani shared a video falsely alleging ballot tampering. The judge has prohibited Giuliani from arguing the debunked election fraud claims in court, but he continues to make baseless allegations outside of court.
