A person died after their SUV rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was stopped on Route 1 in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unharmed, and a medical helicopter was called to the scene. The crash occurred near Extra Space Storage, about a mile south of Gillette Stadium.
Patrick Royster, 42, of Taunton, was identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 1 in Wrentham, Massachusetts. The crash occurred at around 5:45 p.m. near Thurston Street, and it is believed that Royster was initially hit by one vehicle and then struck by another while disabled in the roadway.
