The Marion County Public Health Department found mouse droppings in various sections of the Kroger store in Speedway, including the shelves with chips, bread, oats, and under the tables of the baked goods. Aisles 7, 13, and 14, as well as the bakery and deli section, must remain closed until approval by the health department. Kroger is looking forward to another inspection.
The Marion County Public Health Department has closed the bakery and deli areas of a Kroger store in Speedway, Indiana due to reports of rodent activity. Mouse droppings were found in many of the store aisles, as well as the bakery and deli. The areas will remain closed until they can be inspected again on April 20th. The rest of the store will remain operational. Kroger says they are working with officials to deal with the issue and have deep cleaned the affected areas.
