Rev. Robert Dowd to Lead University of Notre Dame as Next President
Fr. Robert Dowd has been elected as the next president of the University of Notre Dame. Currently serving as the Religious Superior of the Holy Cross Community at Notre Dame, Dowd will assume the presidency on July 1, 2024. With a background in political science and a focus on Africa, Dowd aims to build on the university's Catholic mission and continue its efforts in innovation and impact.
