"RMV Adapts to Law Change, Expands Services for Undocumented Residents' Driver's Licenses"
The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is preparing for an influx of new driver's license applicants after a law allowing undocumented residents to obtain licenses took effect. The RMV expects 105,000 additional people to apply within the next six months and is increasing staffing, expanding hours, and adding more road test examiners to accommodate the increased demand.
