Indian Olympic Wrestlers Detained During Protest Escalation
Delhi police have filed cases of rioting against India's top wrestlers, including Olympic medallists Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia, after they were detained during a protest. The wrestlers have been protesting for over a month, demanding the arrest of their federation chief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, for allegedly sexually harassing female athletes. The police cleared out their protest site in Delhi, but the wrestlers said they would return there. The police have filed two cases against Mr Singh, including one under India's Pocso Act, but he has not been arrested yet.
