Casio is set to release its 50th anniversary ring watch in the US for $120, expanding availability beyond Japan. The finger-worn watch, featuring functions like a stopwatch and flashing alarms, is expected to be available in December, according to a new listing on Casio's US website.
Casio is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the watch business with the release of the CRW-001-1JR ring watch, a compact and adorable timepiece priced at ¥19,800 ($128 USD) and set for a December 2024 release, exclusively in Japan. The stainless steel ring watch is waterproof, features a seven-segment LCD for time and date display, and includes a stopwatch and alarm. It maintains simplicity without overloading on features, unlike some of Casio's previous tech-heavy models.
Casio has announced the CRW-001-1JR Ring Watch as part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations. This innovative timepiece, inspired by the G-SHOCK series, uses Metal Injection Molding technology to create a full-metal ring design. It features dual time zone display, a 7-segment LCD for various time functions, and is waterproof. Priced at approximately $128 USD, the Ring Watch will be available in December.
