
Canadian Woman Sentenced to 22 Years for Mailing Ricin to Trump
A French Canadian woman, Pascale Cecile Veronique Ferrier, has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for mailing a ricin-laced letter to former President Donald Trump at the White House. Ferrier manufactured the potentially lethal substance at her home in Quebec and sent threatening letters to Trump and eight Texas law enforcement officials. She was arrested at the US-Canada border with a loaded firearm and ammunition. Ferrier pleaded guilty to violating federal laws regarding biological weapons and expressed her intention to harm Trump.
