Unclaimed Lottery Prizes Totaling $37M Await Winners
A $1 million Mega Millions prize from the Feb. 2 drawing in Rhode Island remains unclaimed, with the winning ticket purchased at Stop & Shop on Metacom Avenue in Bristol. Two $10,000 prizes from the same drawing were claimed earlier in the week. Lottery winners have a year to claim their prize, after which unclaimed funds are turned over to the state's general fund.
