Retired MDPD Lieutenant Faces Attempted Murder Charges in Boyfriend Shooting and Standoff
A retired police lieutenant, Evelyn Fernandez, appeared in bond court after allegedly shooting at her ex-boyfriend in southwest Miami-Dade. No injuries were reported, but Fernandez's attorney argued for a bond reduction, claiming there was no evidence of attempted murder.
