"Two Charged in Fatal Shooting at L.A. Live Restaurant"
Two men have been charged with murder and conspiracy in connection with the shooting death of Sidney Barrett Morris, who was "executed" while dining alone at a California restaurant. Phillip Pasco Clark allegedly walked in and shot Morris at the counter of Fixins Soul Kitchen, then fled in a getaway car driven by an unknown individual. Santana Jermaine Kelly is accused of helping plan the shooting and setting the getaway car ablaze the next day. If convicted, Kelly could face a potential maximum 100-year to life prison sentence, while Clark could face a maximum 85 years to life in prison. Both men have pleaded not guilty and are expected to appear in court again on April 25.
