Florida Moviegoer Brutally Beaten in Callous Attack Over Reserved Seats
A Florida moviegoer, Marc Cohen, was brutally beaten by Jesse Montez Thorton II after asking a couple to move from their pre-assigned seats at an AMC theater in Pompano Beach. Thorton became hostile and confronted Cohen, causing him to lose his balance and fall down the stairs. Thorton then proceeded to punch Cohen multiple times in the face. Witnesses tried to intervene but were unsuccessful. Thorton fled the scene but was later arrested after an anonymous tip. Cohen suffered a broken nose and received stitches, while Thorton faces charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
