Michigan Congressman Dan Kildee Diagnosed with Curable Cancer
Rep. Daniel Kildee (D-Mich.) has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a serious but curable form of cancer. He will undergo surgery in a few weeks to remove a small tumor in one of his tonsils, and his doctors have told him it will take an additional few weeks after the surgery to recover. Kildee's congressional office will remain open throughout his absence.
