Silver Dollar City's Fire In The Hole ride, which has been entertaining guests for 51 years, is getting a new version set to open in spring 2024. The revamped ride will be the largest indoor roller coaster in the park and will feature a revamped soundtrack by bluegrass Grammy-nominated artists Dailey & Vincent. The new ride will be about the same length as the original, housed inside a five-story climate-controlled building, and will include three water-splashing drops and 14 show scenes. The park's president called it the park's largest investment to date at $30 million. The opening of the new ride will coincide with the opening of The Fire District, which will feature a new store and dining area. The original Fire In The Hole ride will close at the end of this season.
