Disneyland's Splash Mountain to be replaced by Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
Disneyland's Splash Mountain will close on May 31 and be replaced by Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a new attraction themed around "The Princess and the Frog." The decision to re-theme Splash Mountain was made in June 2020 after criticism that it promoted racial stereotypes. The new attraction will feature new Audio-Animatronics figures, music from the movie, and new original Disney characters. The attraction will open in 2024.
