49ers Sign TE Logan Thomas, Release DL Raymond Johnson III
The 49ers signed free agent tight end Logan Thomas to a one-year deal and waived defensive lineman Raymond Johnson III to make room on the roster. Johnson, who has previously played for the Giants, Bengals, and Lions, has limited NFL experience with only 15 games played in 2021.
