Logitech is launching the Pro X2 Superstrike, a wireless gaming mouse featuring haptic-based clicks and rapid trigger technology for faster response times, along with a more compact Superlight 2C version, both set to release early next year.
Wooting, known for its Rapid Trigger feature, has launched the 80HE gaming keyboard with a new "Rappy Snappy" feature that enhances speed and responsiveness for gaming maneuvers. The 80HE offers an 80 percent layout, true 8KHz polling rate, adjustable actuation, and various customization options. Priced at $200 for the base PCR version and $300 for the zinc alloy version, Wooting is currently running a "Founders' Campaign" for preorders, with over 6,000 orders already placed and expecting to deliver the first batch in August.
SteelSeries has introduced the Rapid Trigger feature to its Apex Pro keyboard lineup, offering faster actuation with their Omnipoint switches. This feature allows for customization of actuation and debounce, resulting in a response time of 0.54ms. Users can choose between actuation points ranging from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. To access Rapid Trigger, users need to update their SteelSeries GG software and install the new firmware for their keyboard.
