Tragic Death of Texas Cheerleader Shocks Community
Lizbeth Medina, a high school cheerleader from Texas, was found stabbed to death in her bathtub. The suspect, Rafael Govea Romero, an undocumented immigrant with an expired visa, was arrested on a capital murder charge. Police seized evidence from Romero's car that linked him to the crime, but the motive and the relationship between the victim and the suspect remain unknown. Romero has been detained by ICE due to his undocumented status.
