"Samsung Confirms Key Feature Missing in Galaxy Z Fold 6"
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6, set to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th, will not support Wi-Fi 7, relying instead on the older Wi-Fi 6 standard. This omission, confirmed through FCC documents, also applies to the smaller Galaxy Z Flip 6. Despite being powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Z Fold 6 lacks the advanced Wi-Fi functionality found in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung may be reserving Wi-Fi 7 for a potential higher-end model expected later in 2024.
