Samsung Galaxy S25 to Feature Game-Changing Qi2 Magnetic Charging
Rumors suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series will support the Qi2 wireless charging standard, which was expected but not included in the Galaxy S24 series. The Qi2 standard, launched in late 2023, promises improved energy efficiency and faster charging, with a charging strength of 15W. Currently, the only Android phone supporting Qi2 is the HMD Skyline. The Galaxy S25 is anticipated to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025.
