Samsung Introduces $1599 ViewFinity S9 5K Display to Rival Apple's Studio Display
Samsung has announced the pricing and availability of its 27-inch 5K ViewFinity S9 desktop monitor, positioning it as a prosumer option to rival LG and Apple monitors. Priced at $1,599.99, the ViewFinity S9 offers multiple connectivity options, a height-adjustable stand, and a built-in 4K SlimFit camera. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and includes features such as Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, Mini DisplayPort, and Samsung's Smart Calibration feature. The monitor will be available for purchase in August, and it will be interesting to compare its 5K LCD panel with Apple's Studio Display.
