Alec Baldwin's Involvement in 'Rust' Shooting Raises Legal Concerns
New videos released by NBC News show Alec Baldwin firing prop guns and advising crew members on firearm safety on the set of "Rust" prior to the fatal shooting incident. The videos were recorded days before a gun being held by Baldwin fired a live round, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. Special prosecutors received dozens of videos from the set, and Baldwin could face involuntary manslaughter charges, with a potential prison sentence of up to 18 months if convicted. Baldwin maintains his innocence, stating that he was told the gun was not loaded and did not pull the trigger. The assistant director and the production's armorer are also facing charges in connection to the incident.
