Microsoft Updates Windows 11 Processor List: Intel CPUs Removed, New AMD Ryzen CPUs Added
Microsoft has updated the supported processor list for Windows 11, removing several Intel Xeon CPUs from the list. The updated list, published on July 25th, no longer includes Xeon processors based on Intel's Coffee Lake architecture. The change affects Xeon models from the 8th generation Core processors, while other Xeon models remain supported. The system requirements for Windows 11 have not changed significantly, and unsupported hardware will not suddenly appear on the supported list.
