Allen Johnson, the 2012 NHRA Pro Stock world champion, has been named as the new driver of Geoff Turk's Factory X Dodge Challenger entry. Turk, who was initially scheduled to drive the Blackbird X Challenger, was involved in a testing accident and had to vacate the driver's seat due to a brain hemorrhage. Johnson, a long-time Mopar driver, eagerly accepted the opportunity to drive the Blackbird X Challenger in upcoming NHRA Factory X events. Turk, who is recovering from his injuries, believes that the Factory X class has a promising future and expects more cars to join the competition in the coming years.
