Creator Taylor Sheridan plans to extend the final season of "Yellowstone" and hints at a potential spinoff with Matthew McConaughey in negotiations to join the franchise. The spinoff may involve a new cast and location, and Sheridan is also planning several more "Yellowstone" prequels. Despite the high cost of production, Sheridan expects these titles to become more expensive and believes there will be enough for many more prequels. Sheridan remains busy with the final "Yellowstone" episodes, a second and final season of "1923," the Bass Reeves spin-off, and the "Special Ops: Lioness" series with Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman.
