"2024 Postseason Women's Basketball Tournaments: New Opportunities and Exciting Matchups"
After finishing their regular season and conference tournament in the Big 12 with a 16-16 record, the BYU Cougars women’s basketball team will be participating in the inaugural Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT), a 32-team event for teams that did not make the NCAA Tournament. Unseeded BYU will face 4 seed Santa Clara in the first round, with the winner advancing to play the winner of top-seed Washington State and Lamar. The team's head coach expressed excitement for the opportunity to extend their season and continue improving.
