Snoop Dogg and Master P's Company Alleges Sabotage in Cereal Lawsuit
Rappers Snoop Dogg and Master P are suing Post Foods and Walmart, alleging that the companies intentionally hid their Snoop Cereal off store shelves and in stockrooms to sabotage the product, despite a partnership agreement. The lawsuit claims breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent misrepresentation, fraud, and collusion and conspiracy. Post Consumer Brands expressed disappointment in consumer demand, while Walmart cited various factors affecting product sales. The rappers seek damages exceeding $50,000 and a jury trial, represented by civil rights attorney Ben Crump, with the lawsuit emphasizing fair treatment for minority-owned businesses.
