NFL Implements New Gambling Policies to Educate Players and Protect Integrity.
The NFL has outlined six key rules for players to follow in order to avoid violating the league's gambling policy, including not betting on the NFL, not gambling at team facilities or hotels, and not sharing inside information. The league has already suspended six players for gambling violations this offseason, and rookies will now undergo mandatory training on the policy. The NFL will be alerted if a player uses their own name on a gambling app, and one player, Isaiah Rodgers of the Indianapolis Colts, is reportedly under investigation.
