World of Warcraft introduces Plunderstorm, a limited-time pirate-themed event where players compete in 10-15 minute matches to be the last pirate standing, earning rewards for both Modern and Classic progression realms. No expansion purchase is required, but a World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time is needed to participate.
