Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 prioritizes accuracy over gamification.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will not have "game-y" missions, but will feature accurate aviation activities such as firefighting and search and rescue. The game will have a new physics and aerodynamics engine to support these activities, as well as tissue, rope, and other soft body physics. The game will also have a more dynamic world to explore, including the Aurora Borealis, more animal herds, worldwide live ship traffic, and improved vehicle traffic. The game will be backwards compatible with previously created community content.
