"Capturing the Diverse Experiences of Breast Cancer Patients: A Photo Series"
A new photography project called "Marks of Majesty" aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and highlight the diverse experiences of those affected by the disease. The project features seven models, including nonbinary individuals and women of color, who strike confident poses to reveal how cancer has transformed their bodies while asserting themselves in their redefined embodiment of beauty, body image, and gender expression. The project seeks to challenge societal norms and raise awareness about the diverse population affected by breast cancer, as well as the ongoing challenges faced by patients, such as the impact on body image, sexuality, and mental health.
