PlayStation Set to Dominate Cloud Gaming After Stadia's Demise.

Sony is reportedly hiring for as many as 22 roles related to cloud gaming tech, with ex-Sony director Phil Harrison reportedly locking the doors on his way out. The Future Technology Group (FTG) will supposedly lead the charge in the cloud gaming revolution, putting console-quality video games on any device. In addition, dozens of new patents from 2022 and 2023, some authored by PS5 and PS4 architect Mark Cerny, show that the firm is actively interested in cloud gaming tech.
