Three of the top 5 record-breaking days for passenger numbers at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport occurred during the 2023 South by Southwest Conference & Festivals. The airport has been managing the high volume of passengers smoothly, with an average of over 30,000 passengers per day. The airport is expecting high numbers of travelers for the PGA tournament and is also considering the impact of Spring Break on traveling.
