Ship owned by Microsoft cofounder's estate topples over at Leith Docks, causing injuries.
A marine expert has said that high winds are unlikely to have caused the US Navy research vessel Petrel to topple over at an Edinburgh dry dock, injuring 35 people. Dr Iraklis Lazakis from Strathclyde University's department of marine architecture said it was "very unusual for such accidents to happen". The Health and Safety Executive said inspectors would visit the site later to begin an investigation, working with Police Scotland.
