
UVA RB Perris Jones Makes Miraculous Recovery, Returns Home After Spinal Injury
University of Virginia running back Perris Jones has been discharged from a rehab center in Louisville three weeks after sustaining a spinal cord injury during a game. Jones underwent surgery and spent time in the ICU before being transferred to a rehabilitation institute. He will continue his rehab in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jones expressed gratitude for the support he received and stated that he will no longer play football but remains optimistic about the future.
