
Rapid spread of wildfires threatens Shenandoah Mountain and surrounding areas
A wildfire is currently burning at the base of Shenandoah Mountain in the George Washington National Forest near Brandywine, West Virginia. At least 10 acres of land have been affected, and crews are on the scene. Smoke from the fire is visible on a VA511 camera located along US 33 at the West Virginia/Virginia state line.
