Hit-and-Run Outside Guaranteed Rate Field Injures Multiple Pedestrians.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with four felony counts of aggravated reckless driving and one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license after a hit-and-run outside of Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago. The crash injured four pedestrians, including Charles Janczy, whose son said he is in the hospital with broken bones all over his body. The suspect was ultimately stopped by state troopers on the Dan Ryan Expressway. Alderwoman Nicole Lee plans to work with the city to make the area near 35th Street and Shields Avenue safer.

Fatal San Francisco Police Chase Ends in Tragic Crash

One person was killed and four others were injured after a driver accused in a carjacking crashed a stolen city-owned truck following a police pursuit in San Francisco. The suspect is under arrest and charges have not been disclosed. The injured include pedestrians and at least one SUV was also struck in the crash. The city worker was working at the time of the carjacking and it is unclear if a weapon was used.
