Widespread Power Outages and Storm Damage Sweep Philadelphia Region
Severe storms have caused power outages across the Philadelphia region, with thousands of customers affected. PECO reports that over 82,000 customers are without power, with the highest numbers in Chester County. Additionally, Delmarva states that over 22,000 customers in New Castle County, Delaware, are without power. In New Jersey, PSEG and Atlantic City Electric report thousands of customers without power in various counties. Residents are advised to keep refrigerators closed to preserve food.
