Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming Update 2.0 is expected to heavily stress both CPUs and GPUs, with the game potentially using up to 90% of modern-day eight-core CPUs. The lead scene programmer advises PC gamers to check their systems for stability and overheating issues before the update's release. The update will bring major improvements to gameplay systems, including revamped police and combat AI, new items, story quests, and gigs, as well as support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.5. Modder "Half Hogan PL" will also release an optimized Texture Pack for CP2077 in October.
