Bon Secours Mercy Health Virginia has filed a lawsuit against Anthem, alleging that the health insurance provider has failed to pay insurance claims in a timely manner over the past several years. The non-profit Catholic health care system claims that Anthem is years behind in overdue debt and has increased denials, resulting in over $20 million in denial write-offs since 2020.
Russian conscripts and contract soldiers are not receiving their promised salaries, allowances, and social benefits, with payments delayed or not made at all in 52 regions of Russia and occupied Crimea since March 2023. Instead of the promised amount, their accounts receive much smaller sums. Complaints have been posted on social media, with some servicemen receiving payments later, while others have zeros in place of payments on their payslips. The problem has affected both conscripts and volunteer and contract soldiers.
