"Paul DeJong Signs with White Sox in New Deal"
Shortstop Paul DeJong has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chicago White Sox pending a physical, sources say. DeJong, a former All-Star, played for the St. Louis Cardinals before being traded to Toronto and later released by the Blue Jays. He signed with the San Francisco Giants before joining the White Sox. The 30-year-old has a career average of .229 with 116 homers and 344 RBIs.
