Nokia's Patent Agreement with Apple Boosts Stock (NOK)
Nokia shares rose over 4.5% after announcing a long-term patent licensing agreement with Apple, covering Nokia's fundamental inventions in 5G and other areas. The deal replaces the existing agreement and includes undisclosed payments to Nokia for a multi-year period. Nokia will begin recognizing the revenue in January 2024.
