"Google Enhances Chrome's Security and Sync Features for Seamless Browsing Experience"
Google has announced that its Safety Check feature for Chrome will now run automatically in the background on desktop, constantly checking for compromised passwords and alerting users to change them sooner. Safety Check also monitors for bad extensions or site permissions and can revoke permissions for unused sites. Additionally, Chrome will soon allow users to save tab groups across devices, and Google plans to introduce features powered by its AI model, Gemini, to Chrome early next year.
