Father and 10-year-old daughter drown at Pass-a-Grille Beach.
A father and daughter drowned at Pass-a-Grille beach in Florida after being swept offshore by a strong rip current. The father was at the beach with his three daughters, one of whom called 911 while a passerby helped. The father and daughter were found half a mile off the coast and taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
