Star Ocean: The Second Story R remake to feature adjusted difficulty and new quests based on fan requests.
The Star Ocean franchise has clarified that certain promotional screenshots for Star Ocean The Second Story R are not indicative of the final party builds players can expect from the full game. The official release will have party compositions based on the original Star Ocean The Second Story. The game will feature fully voiced event scenes with the original voice cast, a newly arranged soundtrack by original composer Motoi Sakuraba with new songs, including some with a live band, as well as the new Break and Assault Action combat mechanics.
