Salaar Director Addresses Controversies Surrounding Film
Filmmaker Prashanth Neel, known for the "KGF" franchise, hopes his latest directorial venture, "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire," will organically become a pan-India movie like his previous films. Neel believes that movies that happen organically tend to do well, and he doesn't plan his films as pan-India projects. "Salaar" revolves around two friends played by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran who become arch rivals. Neel aims to showcase Prabhas as a character rather than a superstar and believes that stars can always bounce back after a hit film. The film is set to release on Friday and will face a box office showdown with Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki," starring Shah Rukh Khan.
