Giants' Conforto hits milestone during road trip, but unable to sweep Brewers.
Michael Conforto had a successful road trip with the San Francisco Giants, hitting .423 and smacking three home runs. He also recorded his first straight assist to a base in nearly two years, proving that he's all the way back following his year-long rehab from major right shoulder surgery. Conforto acknowledged his shoulder procedure in April 2022 was more involved than previously revealed, but the healing was exceptional. The Giants took new scans of both shoulders in December before signing off on his two-year, $36 million contract.
