Yankees' Oscar Gonzalez Suffers Orbital Fracture from Foul Ball
New York Yankees outfielder Oscar Gonzalez suffered a right orbital fracture after fouling a ball into his own face during an exhibition game in Mexico City. He was carted off the field and taken to the hospital for treatment, where he will remain overnight for observation and rest. It is uncertain how long he will be sidelined, but he was not in contention for the Opening Day roster after being reassigned to the minor league camp earlier in the day.
